Since then, we've
seen that change takes work. 2008 was only the beginning, and the last
year of politics in the U.S. presented unprecedented opportunities and
unprecedented challenges. We can't take voters and their support for
granted - losing the governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey
and a Senate seat in Massachusetts made that clear.
